Fitness Friday: Start your Martial Arts training with Kali
Kali is the Filipino art of knife fighting.

Thanks to Ronda Rousey and to some extent, Conor McGregor, mixed martial arts has taken on a whole new level these days.

And while many are hesitant to really go for it on a competitive standpoint, martial arts practice is still an effective way to exercise that not only promotes fitness but discipline as well.

There are many types of martial arts one can venture into but why not start with something that we Filipinos can call our own?

We are talking about Kali, or the Filipino martial art of knife fighting.

Basically, Kali provides all the benefits of martial arts in terms of exercise and self-defense obviously. 

Oh and it's fun, challenging and former WWE Superstar and now action movie star Batista does it too.
