It’s said that we are what we are from the company we keep or the clothes we wear. Or, sometimes, from what we have in our bag. As a way to get our favorite athletes more, we at ABS-CBN Sports did the unthinkable and snooped into the dugout just to ask them to show what’s inside their respective bags!
It’s all ambush, of course. Because, we can.
First up in this privacy-pruning project: We have some star players from the UST women’s volleyball team revealing their most kept belongings. Ecstatic after nabbing their first win this season, one which they had against UE yesterday, Carmela Tunay, Jessey de Leon, Cherry Ann Rondina, and new savior EJ Laure share why they can’t go to a match without slipping these items into their backpacks!
Favorite ko yung Benedictine pendant na gift from a friend.
“I bring a power bank for my phone kasi I always play music on my phone right before a game.”
“I also bring my makeup kit kasi, di ba, freshness is an essential? Ha ha!”
“Since my pregame ritual is to always play pump-up songs, I always bring my headphones.”
“As an architecture student, I always have my design scheme book with me kasi nag-s-sketch ako habang naghihintay sa games or sa training.”
“Coming from St. Scholastica, I consider my Benedictine pendant as my lucky charm in every game.”
