Runner's World magazine named the Skechers GOrun 4 the Editor's Choice for June 2016.
The recognition represents an outstanding shoe that successfully combines the highest-quality design and technology. Winners received high marks from the Runner’s World Shoe Lab, the “wear-testers” and the editors.
In the issue, Runner’s World noted that the testers "heaped praise on the new upper, saying it had an ‘amazing fit’ and calling it ‘extremely comfortable’."

Introduced by the company earlier this year, it features a sock-like upper, resulting in reduced weight and increased support.
The lightweight shoe also features an advanced cushion in the midsole, and Skechers’ signature m-strike which promotes mid-foot striking. This technology helps runners go faster by minimizing ground contact time as the middle of the foot impacts the ground and transitions to forefoot for immediate toe off.
