Move over crying Michael Jordan.
There is a new internet sensation right now, you know, that thing called "The Running Man Challenge."
It's not a challenge really, but more of a mixture of weird dance routines set to the 1996 song "My Boo."
"The Running Man Challenge" has dominated the internet lately but it really gained traction when some college basketball players from the University of Maryland did variations of the running man dance.
Two teenagers actually did the thing first, Kevin Vincent and Jerry Hall first recorded their video while in Finance class.
Watch the two talk about it at the Ellen Show below.
And then it caught up with the Maryland players Jared Nickens, Jaylen Brantley and Damonte Dodd.
“We were trying to think of something just to be funny and put on Instagram,” Brantley said in an interview with the Washington Post. “And I was like ‘Jared, let me jump out the [laundry] cart one time.’ ”
“And then he jumped out the cart [while] I was just recording it,” said Dodd in the same article. “And then it just blew up.”
