Before many of our best ballers became, well, themselves now, they were wide-eyed kiddos who just wanted to play. The grassroots program Jr. NBA has been one of the most effective pools of future basketball prodigies in the country. Its roster of alumni includes Ateneo’s Kiefer Ravena, DLSU’s Kib Montalbo and Ricci Rivero, UP’s Henri Asilum, and incoming UCLA Bruins player Kobe Paras. All of whom have grown into national—and international, for Kobe, obviously—heroes and, well, eye candy for many fans.

Curious of the Jr. NBA’s next best products? We came across some of the program’s alumni, and talked about their future not entirely in basketball, though, but what makes of it once they step out of it. You know, as heartthrobs. Which they will be.

Here, these standouts discuss their best tips in style and courtship—you know, talking about it like the hard court hotshots as they are.
