UAAP Magazine has always been about celebrating the student-athlete, while also serving as a handbook for UAAP fans, allowing them to take a peek into their favorite athlete’s lifestyle both as an individual and sports enthusiast.

For Season 79, UAAP Magazine takes things to the next level with its “Star Athletes” Issue. And who better to grace the two-cover special than this generation’s superstar athletes? On one cover are the Season 79 Men’s Basketball champs, the De La Salle Green Archers, led by Jeron Teng, Ben Mbala, Thomas Torres, Kib Montalbo, and Ricci Rivero. On the other are fast-rising volleybelles Finals MVP Kianna Dy of De La Salle University, finalist Bea de Leon of Ateneo de Manila University, and Rookie of the Year Isa Molde of the University of the Philippines.

UAAP Magazine features the top ‘athletic’ idols from each individual sport in its first section, The Hotshots. Olympians Ian Lariba of DLSU and Jessie Lacuna of ADMU, tennis superstar Tin Patrimonio of NU and Taekwondo champ JM Ramos of UST, as well as the unbeatable fencing and softball teams from UE and Adamson—all “#goals-material”—are included in the section. It also includes the #SquadGoals, featuring the heroes of the men’s basketball and women’s volleyball teams for each UAAP school.

In The Fight, UAAP Magazine takes a closer look into the lives of your favorite student-athletes, whether they’re celebrating a win with their teammates, nursing an injury or working out, studying and commuting or chilling like normal students do. In The Life, go through a conversation with UAAP volleyball alumni and certified superstars Alyssa Valdez and Mika Reyes on their life after the UAAP. The magazine also gathers the hottest UAAP athletes then and now in a grand fashion editorial featuring the latest trends in athletic style. It also provides insights on online fan fiction featuring UAAP stars.

UAAP Magazine is the official magazine of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines. It is yearly published by ABS-CBN Publishing, Inc.
