What can't Scottie Thompson do?
It's no secret: Ginebra combo guard Scottie Thompson is one of the most promising young Filipino talents in the PBA.
From his early success as the main man of the University of Perpetual Help System Dalta Altas, Scottie has grown not just as a player, but as a blooming businessman as well.
The former NCAA Most Valuable Player season 90, known to be a triple-double machine back in his amateur days in the hardwood has transitioned well into the pros, being a constant sparkplug for coach Tim Cone and the storied Ginebra franchise.
And his transition into a full-fledged entrepreneur is slowly but surely gaining momentum, with his on-court versatility leading the way for his off-court business ventures.
Part of his humble but growing business "empire" if you will, is his "Sports Hair Shop" that caters to pretty much anyone who wants the latest and trendiest 'dos of the season.
Barbers are Ready!💈✂️ Mga kabarangay invited po kayo lahat sa Grand Opening ng Thompson's Sports Hair Shop Parañaque ngayong Sunday (Aug. 27, 2017) 5pm onwards !💈We're located at 363 R.A. Scottie also has a stall at a food park, which is frequented by fellow Gin Kings and PBA cagers.
But with Scottie Thompson, there's always room for more. For something closer to his athletic roots, he also co-owns the Pound for Pound gym.
Cashing in on his fame and influence as one of the Philippines' rising basketball stars, Scottie is hustling his way into business prominence each passing day.
And because of that, he's slowly building a stable future, one that's completely independent from the projected success of his bright basketball career.
