More than a city running shoe
Designed for changing directions, the PureBOOST Go is a highly adaptive shoe that offers a running experience thatís both thrilling and accessible for all.

The new adidas PureBOOST GO, which was released late last month, is marketed as a shoe "created specifically for thrilling city running", but it is certainly more than that.

Adidas Philippines recently provided an opportunity for a handful of runners, bloggers and media people to test the shoe in a unique city challenge that required participants to run around the Bonifacio Global City (BGC) in the evening and accomplish physical tasks sort of similar to the Amazing Race.

Lighter, Thiner and Wider

The most obvious thing one notices holding of a pair of the PureBOOST GO is that it is lighter than previous models like the PureBOOST DPR.

Once you get your feet inside the shoe, you'll notice that the absence of a cage adds to the lighter weight and that the deconstructed knit upper is thiner compared to the upper of other adidas running shoes. The shoe is actually foldable and easier to fit inside a bag.

When you finally step on the ground, you'll realize that the forefoot in the PureBOOST Go is obviously wider that other BOOST models. Later on, you'll realize that the brand-new Expanded Landing Zone makes it safer to run on concrete roads, step off curbs and constantly change directions.

For Short Runs, Gym Workouts and Everyday Use

While the PUREBoost GO still employs a full-length BOOST midsole it's not exactly as thick or maybe as durable as that of the midsole in the Solar Boost or even the Ultra Boost, making it less ideal for long runs, but just for a quick 30 - 45 minute run or even a workout in the gym.

Outside of running and working out, the shoe is stylish and modern enough for everyday casual use at work or school. It goes well with a pair of jeans or shorts.

The PHP 6,000 price tag of the PureBOOST Go makes it attractive enough to purchase if one is under a tight budget.
