Space Jam 2 starting LeBron James is coming and we finally got a look at the gear players will wear in the movie.
Nike and Jordan Brand has revealed their respective lineups for the 2020 NBA All-Star Game in Chicago and part of the set are the kits for Space Jam 2.
The Tune Squad retains its classic look with a few additions.
The logo remains pretty consistent, as this Nike version for Space Jam 2 is the third iteration of the jersey after Jordan Brand's 2016 take and the original champion jersey from the first movie's original release in the 1990s.
For the Space Jam 2 version, Bugs Bunny's famous "What's up Doc?" line was incorporated to the uniforms.
The Monstars set is where things get different.
In the original Space Jam movie, the Monstars wore plain purple jerseys with orange trims. All five aliens wore the jersey number 0.
The Space Jam 2 uniforms retain the color scheme, but made it modern by adding actual Monstars branding using the team's signature font.
Accompanying the Space Jam 2 kits is the Nike LeBron 17 in a Monstars colorway, featuring Bupkus (purple) and Pound (orange) as the dominant colors.
A Tune Squad-inspired version of the yet-to-be revealed LeBron 17 low is also reportedly on the way.
