After Kobe Bryant's tragic passing Sunday due to a helicopter crash in California, Nike is pulling out all products related to him for the moment.
Bryant died with his daughter Gigi and seven others in a fatal crash that shocked the world. The former Lakers star was 41 and his daughter was 13.
Nike, the sportswear giant that has partnered with Kobe for 11 signature shoes and five post-retirement shoes, has pulled out all products related to him from its webstore.
In a statement, Nike called Kobe as one of the greats.
"Along with millions of athletes and fans throughout the world, we are devastated," the statement read.
"Kobe was one of the greatest athletes of his generation and has had an immeasurable impact on the world of sport and the community of basketball. He was a beloved member of the Nike family. We will miss him greatly. Mamba forever," the statement from Nike ended.
Typing "Kobe" in Nike's US website redirects to the brand's memorial message.
