Women’s 13th seed Lucie Safarova gave number one seed Serena Williams a good final match, evening things up at a set apiece, but in the end, the American capped off her dominant run in Roland Garros by defeating Safarova in three sets to claim the 2015 French Open women’s singles title.

In the men’s doubles final, third seeds Ivan Dodig and Marcelo Melo upset the Bryan Brothers to bring home the men’s doubles championship.

As reported earlier, men’s top seed Novak Djokovic booked a seat in the men’s singles final after defeating Andy Murray in the resumption of their semifinals match, which was suspended due to rain in Day 13. Djokovic meets Stan Wawrinka in the men's singles final.
