Battling back from a set down, men’s eighth seed Stan Wawrinka upset number one seed Novak Djokovic in four sets to leave Roland Garros with the 2015 French Open men’s singles title.

Djokovic took the first set and seemed to be on his way to claiming the title in Roland Garros, but the fatigue of playing three straight days began to set in, and Wawrinka capitalized, taking the next three sets to clinch the title.

On his way to the French Open men’s singles title, Wawrinka defeated top two seeds Djokovic and Roger Federer, as well as Giles Simon and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga.
