Huey, Mirnyi fall in Aussie Open quarters

Fil-American tennister Treat Huey and partner Max Mirnyi from Belarus reached the end of their Australian Open Men's Doubles campaign as they fell to Canadian Daniel Nestor and the Czech Republic's Radek Stepanek in two sets, 6-4, 6-4, in their quarterfinals match Tuesday afternoon. 

Things were close in the early stages of the match, but the duo of Nestor amd Stepanek ultimately prevailed. They meet Argentinian Pablo Cuevas and Spain's Marcel Granollers in the semifinals. 

Huey's Aussie Open journey continues however, this time in the mixed doubles tournament with Slovenian Andrea Klepac. They meet the duo of India's Rohan Bopanna of India and Yung-Jan Chan of Taipei in the quarterfinals on Thursday.
