Pretty soon, there’s going to be another Eala that’s making a name on the tennis courts.
Miko Eala, the older brother of Filipina tennis prodigy Alex Eala is set to take his talents to the US NCAA, representing Penn State University.
The 17-year old Eala, who’s also a product of the Rafael Nadal Tennis Academy, captured the Boys’ Singles title at the Hellenic Bank Masters Tennis Academy tournament in Cyprus back in November of 2019.
As for younger sister Alex, she had herself an impressive start to 2020, rising to fourth in the ITF Juniors Girls World Rankings following a great Australian Open outing that saw her reach the third round of the Girls’ Singles tournament and then capture the Girls’ Doubles tournament with partner Priska Nugroho of Indonesia.
