It takes a dynasty to beat another in the UAAP Cheerdance competition.
UST beat UP three times in a row from 2003 - 2005, debuting the now immortal "Helicopter" stunt in 2004 that changed the game forever.
By the early 2000s and in the epic history of the UAAP Cheerdance competition, the UP Pep Squad was a legitimate force, rivaling the early success of UST's vaunted dance troupe.

The UP Pep Squad finally emerged as a force to reckon with in the UAAP Cheerdance Competition, collaring three consecutive titles from 1999-2001.
The FEU Cheering Squad showed it had what it takes to become the new cheerdance giants in 1998.
