The Growling Tigers will have a four-time PBA MVP teaching their big men some post moves.
The UST Growling Tigers received a major upgrade in their coaching staff with the arrival of four-time PBA MVP Alvin Patrimonio.
In a report by the Varsitarian, Patrimonio will serve as UST's “big men’s coach” but according to chief tactician Bong Dela Cruz, nothing is official because of the PBA legend’s commitment with the Star Hotshots.
Patrimonio replaced long time assistant Estong Ballesteros who resigned after the UAAP Season 77.
“Nakikita ko na gusto talaga nilang mag-improve," Patrimonio said per the report.
Patrimonio played for the Mapua Cardinals in the NCAA although his UAAP ties are with the National University where his two daughters play tennis for the now two-time defending champion Lady Bulldogs.
