*SWEEPERS. There are only three UAAP senior men's basketball teams who have made sweeps in the elimination round: Far Eastern University (1981), University of the East (1986 and 2007), and University of Sto. Tomas (1993).

*THE WINNINGEST. The FEU Tamaraws have the most number of UAAP senior men's basketball titles (19), followed by the UE Red Warriors (18) and the UST Growling Tigers (18).

*THE TIES THAT BIND. De La Salle University and Ateneo de Manila University both have 8 UAAP senior men's basketball championships apiece.

*STREAKER! The longest championship streak belongs to the UE Red Warriors at 7 from 1965-1971. (Note: In 1967-1968, UE was co-champions with UST).

*F4: The Final Four Format was adopted by the UAAP in 1993. Prior to that any basketball team that sweeps the 1st and 2nd round eliminations was automatically declared champion.

*THE LONG AND SHORT OF IT. The shortest UAAP player ever to play in the league was Elias Burden (5'3") for FEU in 1990. The tallest player was Raul Dillo (7'3") from UE, but he never suited up to play.

*COACHY-COACHY-COO. The winningest UAAP coach ever is Virgilio "Baby" Dalupan who won 12 championships for UE. The longest serving UAAP coach was NU's coach Roberto "Sonny" Paguia who sat on the Bulldogs' bench for more than 40 years.

*RARE FEAT. UST is the only UAAP team that has done the rare feat of bagging the senior men's, women's and junior' basketball titles in one season.

*OVERALL ALL OVER. In the first 11 years of the UAAP, FEU was overall champion. UST has the most number of overall championships in the league at 56.

*IT'S A BIRD! The logo in the UP seal is not a parrot. It's an eagle.
