FOR REAL. Mark Dyke said he will play for DLSU starting next season.
The saga of two-time UAAP Juniors Mythical selection Mark Dyke appears to have finally come to a close.
Dyke, the former Nazareth School of National University standout, was finally sighted on Sunday at the MOA Arena after three months of being unseen and unheard from.
The Pampanga native was wearing a green and white jacket and seated behind the Green Archers’ bench. Dyke committed to the Taft-based school earlier in the preseason, but then went missing after officially graduating from high school.
Rumors had the athletic forward headed back to Sampaloc, but neither NU’s Eric Altamirano nor DLSU’s Juno Sauler allegedly had no idea of his whereabouts.
Asked if the jacket he was wearing was for real already, Dyke told ABS-CBN Sports, “Sure na.”
He then added, “Next year na.”
