Adamson and DLSU aim to get back to winning
WINNING FEELING. DLSU last won during its season-opener while Adamson is yet to win at all.

Games on Sunday at the Araneta Coliseum

2:00 PM – Adamson vs DLSU

4:00 PM – UP vs FEU

Two squads at the bottom of the standings in the UAAP 78 Men’s Basketball Tournament try to rise one rung higher when uninspired De La Salle University takes on inexperienced Adamson University.

The Green Archers look to arrest a two-game skid while the Soaring Falcons look to finally get on the win column on Sunday at the Araneta Coliseum.

Tip-off is set at 2:00 PM and all of the action will be broadcast LIVE on ABS-CBN Sports+Action Channel 23 and streamed LIVE on sports.abs-cbn.com.

After a season-opening escape from the defending champion, DLSU has turned in back-to-back listless outings which both led to defeats. Jeron Teng and Jason Perkins have not looked like themselves during the skid and it’s rookie Andrei Caracut who has surprisingly been the most consistent Archer.

Unlike their opponents, an Adamson crew filled with rookies and sophomores settling at the bottom of the standings is of no surprise. The good news is that in all three of their losses, the Falcons have competed early in the game before falling behind late due to inexperience.

In particular, highly-touted rookie Jaydee Tungcab has turned the ball over at an alarming rate. Coach Mike Fermin wants to see much improvement from his game-changer as he said, “Kelangan niyang ayusin yung errors niya para iiwan ko siya sa loob.”
