Rosario: More nervous watching the Bulldogs than playing

Siguradong lalaban at lalaban pa sila." - Troy Rosario
So the Bulldogs finally broke their losing streak yesterday, courtesy of a one point win over the top seed Growling Tigers. Some call it law of averages, other call it luck. Wow, hindi ba pwedeng hard work? But if it were luck, I’d give their lucky charm some credit.
Troy Rosario was spotted in the Arena today, no longer as a college baller for National University but as a mere spectator (and a professional basketball player AND a Gilas cadet. Saan ka pa?). It was his first time back in the UAAP world after graduation and, good for him, he caught THE game where his former team snagged their first victory.
Just like the rest of the faithful, Troy was also biting his nails when NU and UST were playing catch up in the fourth quarter. “Sobrang nakakakaba manood sa bleachers. Mas nakakakaba manood kaysa maglaro eh,” he said.
Other than that, he told us that he also misses playing for the alma mater. Despite his growing career, he still reminisces on his days as a Bulldog.
Yung dati kong ginagawa, nakaka-miss tingnan, nakaka-miss gawin,” Troy shared.
When the Bulldogs dropped to 0-3 after that double overtime loss to the Blue Eagles last Wednesday, he would have definitely suited up if he could.
And what exactly did the former Bulldog Prince advice to the youngsters?
But now that the fire has started, Troy Rosario hopes that it keeps on burning.
Siguradong lalaban at lalaban pa sila.”
