FEU shoots for solo first as Adamson guns for first win
FIRST VS FIRST. FEU wants to move to solo first while Adamson just wants a first win.

Games on Sunday at the Araneta Coliseum

2:00 PM – DLSU vs UE

4:00 PM – FEU vs Adamson

Far Eastern University is dead set on continuing its rampage, but not before first going through Adamson University all set for an ambush in the UAAP 78 Men’s Basketball Tournament.

The Tamaraws aim for a fourth consecutive victory while the Falcons aim to finally take flight via win number one on Sunday at the Araneta Coliseum.

Tip-off is set at 2:00 PM and all of the action will be broadcast LIVE on ABS-CBN Sports+Action Channel 23 as well as streamed LIVE on sports.abs-cbn.com.

By far, the Tamaraws have been the most impressive team in the league. Save for their close loss to University of Sto. Tomas, the Morayta-based squad has trampled on their opponents with an average margin of 17.5 points.

Mac Belo and Mike Tolomia have kept leading the way, but it has been the continued development from RR Pogoy and Raymar Jose along with instant contributions from Monbert Arong that have made FEU even more potent than last year’s runners up.

Conversely, a winless record proves the Falcons to be the most miserable squad in the league thus far. A rookie-laden lineup coupled with a first-year head coach will always entail struggles, but the Sampaloc-based team is yet to come close to any sort of breakthrough.

However, the talent is still there for FEU and when veterans Dawn Ochea and Joseph Nalos and with youngsters Jaydee Tungcab and Nico Capote simultaneously have good games, an upset is not out of the question.
