BATTLE AT THE BOTTOM. While Adamson has been competitive and always gives itself a chance to win, UP has been defeated by an average of double-digits in its last four games.
Games on Sunday at the MOA Arena
11:00 AM – UP vs Adamson
3:00 PM – Ateneo vs DLSU
Against winless Adamson University, struggling University of the Philippines has a golden opportunity to rediscover the impressive form that pushed them to a surprising start in the UAAP 78 Men’s Basketball Tournament.
However, things aren’t that simple as the Fighting Maroons will be facing on Sunday at the MOA Arena the daring Soaring Falcons who have given some sort of scare to all of their opponents.
UP tries to get back on the winning track while Adamson tries to get on the win column starting at 11:00 AM and all of the action will be broadcast LIVE on ABS-CBN Sports+Action Channel 23 as well as streamed LIVE on sports.abs-cbn.com.
The Maroons’ surprising 2-0 start seems like a distant memory as the team has lost four games in a row by an average of 13.8 points. Best personifying State U’s struggles, top-gunner Jett Manuel has suddenly lost his touch and turned in a scoreless outing the last time around.
While they are yet to score any victory, the Falcons have kept on pushing upward the supposed ceiling brought about by their very young lineup. Without any star and only having two players with experience of more than two years, Adamson nearly pulled off a shocker against league-leading Far Eastern University in their most recent outing.
