STILL THE ONE. Kiefer Ravena is still pacing the race for MVP.

After one round in the UAAP 78 Men’s Basketball Tournament, Kiefer Ravena is on track to capture a second consecutive MVP award.

The Ateneo de Manila University star is pacing the race with 70.86 Statistical Points (SPs) built on averages of 18.3 points, five assists, 7.1 rebounds, and 1.7 steals. While he has slowed down in recent outings in failing to breach the 20-point marker, Ravena has still led the Blue Eagles to a share of third place at 4-3.

Next in line is the fearsome twosome of University of Sto. Tomas. Kevin Ferrer ranks second with 68.29 SPs while Daquioag isn’t far behind with 65 SPs.

Rounding out the top five are National University’s Alfred Aroga (61.14 SPs) and Jeron Teng (60.14 SPs).

Co-league leaders Far Eastern University count Mac Belo and Mike Tolomia as their representatives in the top 10.
