TAKEOFF. Ateneo and Adamson are both looking to get their campaign off the ground once again.

Games on Saturday at the MOA Arena

2:00 PM – Ateneo vs Adamson

4:00 PM – UST vs NU

While young Adamson University’s stay at the bottom of the standings in the UAAP 78 Men’s Basketball Tournament is no surprise, talented Ateneo de Manila University’s continued struggle to meet expectations has been a shocker to just about everyone.

Nonetheless, both the Blue Eagles and the Soaring Falcons seek to finally get on track when they clash on Saturday at the MOA Arena.

The battle of the blue birds begins at 2:00 PM and all of the action will be broadcast LIVE on ABS-CBN Sports+Action Channel 23 as well as streamed LIVE on sports.abs-cbn.com.

Ateneo has stumbled to a 1-3 record after a 3-1 start and no one has personified their struggles better than Kiefer Ravena who has failed to breach the 20-point marker in the last five games. With the King Eagle in a slump, Katipunan is still awaiting for the reinforcement to be provided by the other guys such as Von Pessumal and Arvin Tolentino.

On the other hand, Adamson was unable to replicate their first win of the season and fell for the seventh time in eight games the last time around. While the rookie-laden squad from San Marcelino is still learning about themselves, they still wield weapons like Pape Sarr and Jaydee Tungcab to keep them dangerous.

In the first round, the Eagles trounced the Falcons, 84-60.
