LATE RETURNS. Joseph Nalos and Andrei Caracut will be making their returns for their teams who sorely need their scoring from the point guard position.
Games on Saturday at the Araneta Coliseum
2:00 PM – DLSU vs Adamson
4:00 PM – FEU vs UE
This late in the UAAP 78 Men’s Basketball Tournament, four teams have separated themselves from the pack.
De La Salle University attempts to keep themselves in the top four against an Adamson University side which will welcome its leading scorer back on Saturday at the Araneta Coliseum.
The already eliminated Soaring Falcons are out to complicate matters for the still contending Green Archers starting at 2:00 PM and all of the action will be broadcast LIVE on ABS-CBN Sports+Action Channel 23 as well as streamed LIVE on sports.abs-cbn.com.
Even if they have been able to lodge themselves in the fourth spot with five wins in nine games, the Archers have yet to show some consistency befitting their talent-laden lineup. The good news is that Jeron Teng just keeps chugging along while rookie stud Andrei Caracut will finally be returning from a two-game absence.
However, no return is more welcome than Joseph Nalos’ for the Falcons. The rookie laden-squad nearly upset the defending champions in their most recent outing and some timely baskets from Nalos, who was serving a one-game suspension then, may just have gotten them over the hump.
Back in the first round, the Archers routed the Falcons, 88-71.
