Ravena on his hot shooting: 'Nagulat na lang ako'

"Nagulat nalang ako everything was going in." - Kiefer Ravena.
Kiefer Ravena had no words to describe how he made all those "bad shots" in the first quarter against NU especially on a bad ankle.
Luckily, his head coach did and Bo Perasol let out a loud "Tsamba!" to put Ravena's masterful performance into perspective.
Ravena and the rest of the Blue Eagles were obviously in a jolly mood after beating defending champion NU Bulldogs, 68-59, for a third straight win and one step closer to the Final Four.
The reigning MVP scored Ateneo's first 21 points of the game and buried six treys in the first quarter.
It was incredible.
"Nagulat na lang ako everything was going in," Ravena told reporters after scoring 32 points in the win."Tinatawanan nga ako ni Von [Pessumal] kasi hindi niya rin alam kung ano nangyayari actually ako din di ko alam."
"Buti na lang na-shoot kasi sabi nga ni coach bad shot lahat yun eh malamang sa malamang ano na naman maririnig ko nito," he added.
With a whole college career filled with many scoring explosions, what transpired on Sunday was certainly a first for Kiefer so naturally, his teammates wanted nothing to do to disrupt him.
Pessumal said Ravena was looking for a high-five in the middle of his three-point barrage. He declined and said he did not want to spoil his rhythm.
What is more amazing is that Ravena said he is only at about 75 percent with his left ankle still hurting after stepping on a teammate's foot in their last outing.
"Sakit eh, medyo wala pa akong explosiveness. Minadali yung ankle ko eh kasi we had to prepare for NU," Ravena said.
