BE SCARED. The Falcons are hoping to add the Tamaraws to their list of victims.

Games on Wednesday at the MOA Arena

2:00 PM – Adamson vs FEU

4:00 PM – NU vs DLSU

After giving the defending champions their biggest scare in the UAAP 78 Men’s Basketball Tournament, Adamson University followed through with their threat the next time around and scored the biggest upset of the season at the expense of still contending De La Salle University.

Also still contending, the Far Eastern University Tamaraws attempt to avoid the same fate when they meet the Soaring Falcons on Wednesday at the MOA Arena.

FEU tries to remain at solo first while Adamson tries to remove them from there at 2:00 PM and all of the action will be broadcast LIVE on ABS-CBN Sports+Action Channel 23 as well as streamed LIVE on sports.abs-cbn.com.

Nash Racela’s wards have triumphed in all of their last eight games and they have done it via second half rampages. No matter how slow the Tamaraws start, old reliables Mac Belo, Mike Tolomia, and RR Pogoy always seem to find an extra gear later in the game that allows them to suddenly speed up towards victory.

On the other hand, it has only been recently that Mike Fermin found the key to get his team off and running with a 2-3 record coming off a seven-game losing skid to start the season. With Pape Sarr providing a steady paint presence, Joseph Nalos taking the big shots, and a young lineup still determined to learn, the Falcons are definitely no longer the pushovers they were in the first round.

In that first round, FEU squeaked by Adamson, 64-60.
