ALL OR NOTHING: History favors UST over FEU ahead of game 3
SOMETHING HAS TO GIVE. Can the Growling Tigers win another title via a game 3 thriller or will the Tamaraws finally breakthrough to cop that 20th championship?

For the third straight year, the UAAP Finals is down to a deciding game 3.

The final showdown between the UST Growling Tigers and the FEU Tamaraws to settle the Season 78 championship will be the 10th game 3 since the Final Four era (11th actually if we include the 2004 Finals between the FEU and La Salle that was later forfeited in favor of the Tamaraws after the Green Achers fielded players with false documents).

And as such, the Growling Tigers have been involved in five game 3s since 1994, winning three times (1994, 1995 and 2006) while losing two, once in 1999 and their latest sudden-death bout in 2013.

The Tamaraws meanwhile, have officially been involved in only one, losing to the NU Bulldogs last year.

For the record, FEU also technically lost to La Salle in 2004.

On the eve of what is shaping up as another classic game 3 this time between UST and FEU, the Growling Tigers have the historical edge.

Can the Growling Tigers complete another UAAP Finals comeback and tie their victims with 19 titles or can the Tamaraws fulfill their basketball destiny and win a record 20th championship?

Game 3 of the UAAP Season 78 Finals between the UST Tigers and the FEU Tamaraws is on Wednesday, December 2 at 2:30 PM! Catch it LIVE on ABS-CBN Sports+Action 23, BALLS HD 195, and
