Bullpups out to stay unscathed ahead of rematch with Eaglets
HEAT-SEEKING. NU wants to keep a perfect record heading into a huge matchup with Ateneo next week.

Games on Saturday at the Blue Eagle Gym

9:00 AM – FEU-Diliman vs NU

11:00 AM – Ateneo vs UE

1:00 PM – UPIS vs Adamson

3:00 PM – UST vs DLSZ

After nearly a year, runner-up Nazareth School of National University will finally have their chance for some sort of revenge against defending champion Ateneo de Manila High School next week.

For now, however, the Bullpups want to avoid any letdowns when they face a promising Far Eastern University-Diliman side on Saturday at the Blue Eagle Gym.

The Baby Tamaraws challenge the league’s lone undefeated team at 9:00 AM.

Thanks to the emergence of Justine Baltazar and John Lloyd Clemente, NU has looked even more formidable than last year’s team that featured Mark Dyke and Philip Manalang. The league-leaders want nothing more than to keep their perfect record heading into a huge matchup with Ateneo to close out the first round.

However, FEU is definitely far from pushovers with Kenji Roman providing the muscle they have not had in recent years. The little brothers of the Seniors champions want nothing more than to bounce back in the biggest way possible via an upset of the league-leaders.

Right after NU-FEU, the Blue Eaglets then hope to extend the league’s second-best winning streak to five at the expense of still winless University of the East.

Aiming to keep in step for the second spot with the defending champions is De La Salle Zobel who tackle University of Sto. Tomas at 3:00 PM.

In the day’s other game at 1:00 PM, Adamson High School plans to keep the door of the win column shut on the University of the Philippines Integrated School.
