Returning Gyzelle Sy could be the missing piece for Lady Tamaraws

Gyzelle Sy is back and she could be the key that takes the FEU Lady Tamaraws to the next level.
For a team that is looking to maximize their veteran talent to make a deeper playoff run this season, the timing of Gyzelle Sy's return to the Lady Tamaraws could not be more perfect.
After FEU barely made it to the Final Four last year, the Lady Tamaraws are now looking to take the next step with most of their battle-tested seniors intact.
Now they have one of the steadiest setters in the last couple years back to control the offense featuring the most underrated spiker in the league.
"Nag-aadjust ako pero hindi naman ganun kahirap," Sy told ABS-CBN Sports on her return to the FEU lineup. "Walang naging problema sa pagbabalik ko. Sobrang ramdam ko yung pag-welcome back sakin ng teammates ko, ng coaches ko at ng buong FEU."
Missing time last year due to personal reasons, Sy is ready to go in her final season in Morayta.
"Last year talaga nagka-problema ako financially so kinailangan ko maglaro [semi] professionally para makatulong din sa family ko," she said. "Ako yung pinakamatanda sa team pero para sakin hindi ko kakayanin ng ako magisa so kailangan ko din ng tulong. Chemistry is okay naman."
With Bernadeth Pons as her main offensive weapon, Sy and the FEU offense should not be taken lightly this season.
