Sa panalo na 'to maniniwala na sila -- Gorayeb
National University head coach Roger Gorayeb talks about the Lady Bulldogs' huge upset over De La Salle University.

National University head coach Roger Gorayeb believes that the Lady Bulldogs’ huge win against De La Salle University could be the catalyst for the squad’s drive to capture the elusive crown.

Gorayeb said that NU’s 25-16, 26-24, 14-25, 25-23, upset over the Lady Spikers on Wednesday boosted the team’s morale in the 78th UAAP women’s volleyball tournament.

Composed of veteran hitters Myla Pablo, Jorelle Singh and 6-foot-5 Jaja Santiago, the Lady Bulldogs are considered as one of the top contenders to challenge the Ateneo de Manila University’s reign.

Gorayeb, on his second year with the team, said that what the Lady Bulldogs lack is the confidence to believe in their skills and ability to win games.

Their victory against DLSU, for Gorayeb, is a good start for his players to begin having that faith.
