NU, UST try for second consecutive wins
Can Paolo Salenga and the NU Bulldogs claim their second straight win?
Matches on Sunday, February 14 (McKinley Hill)

1:00 pm - Adamson vs. NU (Men's)
4:00 pm - UP vs. UST (Women's)
7:00 pm - UST vs. UE (Men's)

UAAP Football continues on the day of hearts, as two schools look to collect their second straight wins when National University meets Adamson University, and University of Santo Tomas faces off against University of the East, Sunday at the McKinley Hill Stadium in Taguig.

National U got off to a hot start to their season last Thursday, beating UE to the tune of 4-0, thanks to the breakout performance of seniors Paolo Salenga and Nico Macapal.

The Bulldogs head into Sunday's matchup as the only team to remain perfect defensively, as they have yet to get scored on in Season 78.

Adamson looks to bounce back after falling short in their opening match last Thursday against UST. The young Falcons showed some life late in their match against the Tigers, but ultimately couldn't complete the comeback.

After losing a couple of key pieces in Steven Anotado and Gino Clarino, UST still showed that they could become a legitimate contender this season.

Rookie AJ Pasion and Darwin Busmion provided the firepower the last time out and returning seniors Ronald Batisla-ong and Fidel Kue all showed just how valuable they are to the España-based squad.

Standing in front of the Tigers will be a UE team also looking to bounce back from the 4-0 mauling they recieved at the hands of NU last Thursday.

Jeffrey Lacasamana and the rest of the Red Warriors will need to rally back if they want to make an impact in Season 78.

In the women's division, the only two teams yet to see action will take to the pitch as Season 77 runners-up University of the Philippines will take on University of Santo Tomas.
