REUNION. Ricci seems set to join older brother Prince in DLSU.

More than a month after coach Aldin Ayo said that his step up from Greenhills to Taft Avenue is “almost done,” Ricci Rivero confirmed that he has already been attending practice sessions of De La Salle University.

“Yes, nagpa-practice na ako dun,” the prized prospect from De La Salle Greenhills told reporters after he and other Green Archers watched Game One of the UAAP 78 Juniors Basketball Finals last Friday.

However, Rivero was also quick to point out that he is yet to completely commit to stay in green and white. “Most probably, DLSU na ako. Kung hindi na ako mag-States,” he said.

The NCAA Juniors standout has reportedly received tryout offers from US schools.

In Ayo’s view, however, he will already have two Riveros at his disposal for his first season in the UAAP. Confident that Ricci will join kuya Prince in Taft, he said, “Hindi na siguro. Okay na yun.”
