Lady Tams eye repeat win over Lady Warriors
Far Eastern University looks to hand University of the East its 54th straight loss.

Far Eastern University seeks to shake off a three-way logjam on Wednesday when the Lady Tamaraws take on the listless University of the East Lady Warriors in the 78th UAAP women’s volleyball tournament at the MOA Arena in Pasay City.

Game time is scheduled at 2:00 p.m. and will air live on ABS-CBN Sports+Action Channel 23, ABS-CBN Sports+Action HD Channel 166 and via livestream at sports.abs-cbn.com/livestream/uaap.  

The Lady Tamaraws share the fourth to sixth squad in the standings with National University and University of the Philippines with 4-4 win-loss record.

FEU is coming of a sorry five-set 14-25, 9-25, 25-22, 25-19, 7-15, loss to De La Salle University to start the second round last Saturday.

Against the Lady Warriors, who are yet to taste victory after eight games in the season, the Lady Tams are hoping to duplicate its first round 25-18, 25-11, 21-25, 25-14 win.

FEU’s win over UE in the first round is the Lady Tams' first victory of the season after suffering an opening day loss also against the Lady Spikers.

The Lady Warriors are on a 53-game drought since the second round of Season 74 and last won over FEU last December 8, 2010 in a 26-24, 25-19, 17-25, 25-22 decision in the first round led by then team captain Kite Rosale’s 24-point explosion.
