UST stakes two-game run against first round tormentor
Adamson University is looking to repeat its mastery over the University of Sto. Tomas in their elimination round rematch.

Adamson University hopes to get back on the winning track after having its 6-game romp halted last week as the Falcons take on the surging University of Sto. Tomas in the 78th UAAP men's volleyball tournament at The Arena in San Juan on Saturday.

Opening spike is slated at 10:00 a.m. and will air live over ABS-CBN Sports+Action Channel 23, ABS-CBN Sports+Action HD Channel 166 and via livestream at sports.abs-cbn.com/livestream/uaap.

The loss, Adamson's second in eight outings, dropped the Falcons to solo third spot behind last year's runner up and tormentor in the previous game National University.

Adamson was shot down by the Bulldogs, 23-25, 23-25, 27-25, 22-25 last week.

UST, on the other hand, is coming from a morale-boosting quick workout against the listless University of the East, 25-13, 25-15, 25-11 last Wednesday to capture its first consecutive win of the season and are looking to get back at the Falcons, which handed the Tigers a four-set loss.

The Tigers are in sixth place with a 3-5 card but a win will push them up to a tie with University of the Philippines (4-5).
