Ateneo de Manila middle Maddie Madayag's operation on her right knee ACL tear is scheduled this Saturday.
Injured Ateneo de Manila middle Maddie Madayag is scheduled to undergo surgery this weekend according to Lady Eagles team manager Tony Boy Liao.
The sophomore Davaoena sustained a season-ending right knee anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tear two weeks ago during Ateneo’s training.
“Maddie’s operation (under Dr. Raul Canlas) will be scheduled this Saturday at St. Luke’s Global,” Liao informed ABS-CBN Sports through text message.
Madayag went back to Davao to rest during the Holy Week.
The 18-year-old player, who averaged 7.3 points in 10 games for Ateneo, went down with a knee injury after a bad fall during the Lady Eagles’ spiking drill.
