--- Ara Galang.
De La Salle University Lady Spiker Ara Galang was so frustrated at the result of the second Ateneo-La Salle matchup this season that she was reduced to tears after the game.
Taft's ace was not afraid to admit she cried after losing a tough five-set decision to the rival Lady Eagles, saying that it was her that did not do enough in the end to give her team a win.
Despite the defeat, Galang played perhaps her best game over year after suffering a torn ACL and finished with 20 points to lead the Lady Spikers.
However, she said that its hard to move on from suffering such a defeat, especially at the hands of Ateneo.
With pride on the line against the Lady Eagles, Galang coulnd't help but feel the sting of the defeat despite the matchup being no-bearing on paper.
With one final assignment against NU before facing FEU in the Final Four, Galang and the Lady Spikers are venting their frustrations on the Lady Bulldogs.
It helps that NU handed La Salle its first loss this season.
"Kailangan namin mabawi yung napabayaan namin. Kailangan ma-pakita namin na kaya namin," she said.
