Winning a UAAP title to bookend her collegiate career, Mika Reyes is now free to do whatever she wants.
Fresh from winning a UAAP championship, De La salle star Mika Reyes is going to take it easy.
The only graduating senior from the Lady Spikers with absolutely no more units left in school, the one half of the Taft Towers has some grand plans in the immediate aftermath of her collegiate career.
"As of now wala," Reyes said on what's next for her, drawing laughter from the press room because it took her a while to answer.
Not that she as no options though, but one of her plans might be to continue her studies and pursue a Master's degree.
"I'll try or I'll check if kaya mag Masters and then find a job ganun," the Queen of Swag added.
Winning a title in her final season, Reyes was more than happy to leave something behind to her teammates.
"Parang ang sarap din kasi nung first namin, rookie year kami yun yung iniwanan sa amin ng seniors," Reyes said. "Syempre ngayong seniors kami, hindi namin hahayaan na hindi rin namin yun magagawa sa mga bata."
No matter what she ends up doing, the most polarizing figure in the UAAP played a marvelous series.
Taft and the league is going to miss her for sure.
