Pumaren unleashes young, hungry Falcons on Maroons
WELCOMING PARTY. Jett Manuel and UP are hoping to spoil Franz Pumaren's debut for Adamson.

Games on Sunday at the Araneta Coliseum

2:00 PM – UP vs Adamson

4:00 PM – UST vs Ateneo

Franz Pumaren and his feared full-court press have made their way back to the UAAP via Adamson University.

And the first test to the Soaring Falcons’ adoption of their new coach’s proven recipe for success comes on Sunday at the Araneta Coliseum and comes in the form of a University of the Philippines side wanting nothing more than a repeat of their rousing start a year ago.

Last season’s bottom-placers collide to sound the gun on Season 79 at 2:00 PM and all of the action will be broadcast LIVE on ABS-CBN S+A Channel 23 as well as streamed LIVE on sports.abs-cbn.com/livestream/uaap.

Pumaren will not be debuting alone for Adamson as right there with him are prized prospects in Jerrick Ahanmisi and Rob Manalang. They join an already solid core made up of Dawn Ochea, Pape Sarr, and Jaydee Tungcab.

However, plotting to ruin their coming out party are the Maroons who return an intact lineup fronted by Jett Manuel and Paul Desiderio. They will now be guided by Bo Perasol – a coach who knows a thing or two about taking underrated teams to greater heights.
