HOPE FOR THE BEST. Aaron Black's left foot needs further review.
Coming off a disappointing four-point outing the last time around, Aaron Black was nothing but determined to bounce back.
Unfortunately, only two minutes into Ateneo de Manila University’s matchup against Far Eastern University, Black ran into another disappointment as he hurt his left foot. As he himself narrated after the game, “I just felt something on my foot. I still don’t know what it is, but there was something on my foot.”
He then continued, “I felt it as I was going baseline. That’s all I know right now.”
After his fall, the second-year player had to be carried by medics on his way back to the bench. After the game, he still wasn’t able to put weight on his left foot and had to be helped by teammates Quintio Banzon and Thirdy Ravena out of the venue.
Black says a diagnosis of his injury still has not been made and he will have to wait for x-rays. “I will get an x-ray today, but I really don’t know. I’ll know more after the x-ray,” he expressed.
All the Blue Eagle knows is that his foot is far from healthy. As he repeated, “I felt something on my foot. I started hopping after that because I can’t really run anymore.”
