Games on Sunday at the Araneta Coliseum

2:00 PM – NU vs DLSU

4:00 PM – FEU vs UE

Without a doubt, Far Eastern University’s title defense in the UAAP 79 Men’s Basketball Tournament could have gone a bit better.

Again coming off a bitter defeat, the Tamaraws are seeking a much-needed bounce back and it would have to come at the expense of a University of the East side desperate to just get into the win column on Sunday at the Araneta Coliseum.

FEU wants to avoid a losing skid while the Red Warriors want to climb out of the cellar starting at 4:00 PM. All of the action will be broadcast LIVE on ABS-CBN S+A channel 23, S+A HD channel 166 as well as streamed LIVE on sports.abs-cbn.com/livestream/uaap.

The Tamaraws opened their title defense with a loss to De La Salle University. Raymar Jose and his teammates then downed Adamson University only to be dropped once again by Ateneo de Manila University.

Things have gone worse for UE who were humbled by National University and then University of Sto. Tomas. Still, Bonbon Batiller and company remain determined to finally break through.
