Title favorite DLSU, challenger NU collide for solo first

Games on Sunday at the Araneta Coliseum

2:00 PM – NU vs DLSU

4:00 PM – FEU vs UE

Already having downed the defending champions in the UAAP 79 Men’s Basketball Tournament, De La Salle University wants nothing more than to send another statement.

The Green Archers get their chance to do so on Sunday at the Araneta Coliseum as they take on fellow title hopeful National University in a highly-anticipated heavyweight bout.

The bell rings on the matchup between Jeron Teng-Ben Mbala and J-Jay Alejandro-Alfred Aroga at 2:00 PM and all of the action will be broadcast LIVE on ABS-CBN S+A channel 23, S+A HD channel 166 as well as streamed LIVE on sports.abs-cbn.com/livestream/uaap.

DLSU have done nothing but live up to their hype with three wins in a row to start the season. Following their domination of Far Eastern University, Teng and company have also stamped their class on University of the Philippines and University of Sto. Tomas.

NU have been no slouches either with back-to-back wins at the expense of University of the East and Ateneo de Manila University. Aroga and his teammates are seeking a statement of their own, however, and now get the golden opportunity to derail the seemingly unstoppable DLSU freight train.
