UAAP by the Numbers: Mayhem
La Salle has been causing mayhem all over the UAAP this season.

This week in the UAAP was all about La Salle.

Like seriously, let's just paint the town green until another team catches our attention.

The Green Archers continued their impressive run in Season 79 this week as La Salle maintained its perfect record at 4-0 after another two games in five days.

Coach Aldin Ayo's Mayhem finally had its signature performance Wednesday, handing hosts UST its worst beating in 10 years.

And then come Sunday, the Green Archers flexed their collective muscles in survibing a tough stand from the previously undefeated NU Bulldogs.

Challengers are starting to fall left and right now, can anybody really step up and beat La Salle this season? We'll all have to find out soon enough but for now, check out the latest edition of By the Numbers to get your fix of anything UAAP.

Speaking of that beating handed out by the Green Archers to the Tigers last week, Espana's 62-100 loss to Taft was their worst in 10 years.

The last time UST lost that bad was way back in Season 69 after the Ateneo Blue Eagles pounded them to 114-78 decision.

Unfortunately for La Salle, it was the FEU Tamaraws who won the UAAP title back in Season 66. The Green Archers would win the title in Season 67 although controversy surrounded that championship that would later result to La Salle's suspension for Season 69.

Seconds left on the clock after Dawn Ochea's "magical shot" that made coach Franz Pumaren a "genius" and handing Adamson a 62-61 win over Ateneo.

Adamson has been for real so far in Season 79 and the team's 2-1 standing is right there thanks to their captain.

Rebounds for Raymar Jose in FEU's win over UE.

Jose's 22 boards is a career-high and he's the first local player to record a 20-rebound game since Rodney Brondial grabbed 23 against the Tamaraws back in 2013.

The Growling Tigers added to their impressive winning run after beating the Fighting Maroons, 83-77, Saturday.

UST has gone undefeated against Diliman since Season 70 and it is the longest active streak in the UAAP of one team beating another.
