Pumaren, Adamson out to spoil DLSU’s spotless slate

Games on Saturday at the Mall of Asia Arena

2:00 PM – Adamson vs DLSU

4:00 PM – Ateneo vs UE

After acing their toughest test yet in the UAAP 79 Men’s Basketball Tournament, De La Salle University will not have to wait long to get their next chance at proving themselves and reinforcing their dominance.

Only this time, it will have to come against someone who knows a thing about two, or even more, about them.

The Green Archers stake their perfect record against former coach Franz Pumaren and his new team in Adamson University on Saturday at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Pumaren’s first time coaching against the green and white side he led to five championships commences at 2:00 PM and all of the action will be broadcast LIVE on ABS-CBN S+A channel 23, S+A HD channel 166 as well as streamed LIVE on sports.abs-cbn.com/livestream/uaap.

The Soaring Falcons are on a morale-high after having notched back-to-back wins that have thrust them onto second. At 3-1, Pumaren’s boys have been the most pleasantly surprising squad thus far in the season.

The most impressive team in the tournament, however, can only be DLSU. Ringing off four consecutive victories and staking their claim as the early favorites, they want nothing more than another convincing victory.
