Tamaraws and Fighting Maroons dispute winning streak
STREAK-SEEKING.

Games on Sunday at the Araneta Coliseum

2:00 PM – UP vs FEU

4:00 PM – NU vs UST

While Far Eastern University are yet to have back-to-back losses in their title defense in the UAAP 79 Men’s Basketball Tournament, they are also yet to have back-to-back wins.

The Tamaraws hope to change all that when they take on a University of the Philippines side looking for a winning streak of their own on Sunday at the Araneta Coliseum.

FEU and the Maroons fight over what would be their first winning streak of the season at 2:00 PM and all of the action will be broadcast LIVE on ABS-CBN S+A channel 23, S+A HD channel 166 as well as streamed LIVE on sports.abs-cbn.com/livestream/uaap.

Both teams are coming off morale-boosting wins at the expense of hapless University of the East. The Tamaraws went to work against them in an easy 67-59 win while UP edged them out in a close contest, 75-71.

At 2-2, the defending champions want nothing more than to tie Adamson University and Ateneo de Manila University for second-place while at 1-3, State U want nothing more than to put some more separation between them and cellar-dwelling UE.
