BACK ONCE AGAIN. Jeron Teng is back and doing Jeron Teng things for DLSU.
Following a two-game absence, Jeron Teng came back with a vengeance on Saturday at the Araneta Coliseum.
Talking about his return to action two weeks after minor surgery on his left foot, the captain of De La Salle University said, “I never felt better this season.”
He then continued, “Since the start, there was really a struggle. Ngayon, parang dito ko na mailalabas yung laro ko.”
Indeed, Teng showed no signs of slowing down in his return by piling up 21 points, five rebounds, two assists, and two steals. This, all while powering the Green Archers right through University of the Philippines.
Wasting no time in proving that he is back at full health and in full form, the graduating swingman said he will only make the most of the seven or so games left, at least, in his UAAP career. As he put it, “Ako, ibibigay ko lang yung best ko.”
He also added, “Ilang games na lang ako sa La Salle. Every game, I’m going to give 100 percent.”
