SUSPENDED.

Getting ready for the worst from the oncoming Typhoon Karen, the slate of games for Sunday at the San Juan Arena has been postponed by the UAAP.

“Due to the increment weather, all UAAP games scheduled tomorrow will be cancelled and moved to a later date,” the league statement said.

Commissioner Atty. Rebo Saguisag also confirmed the development.

The cancellation covers not just basketball, but also all other sports scheduled on Sunday.

Typhoon Karen is expected to bring winds with strengths of up to 130 kph. According to Pagasa, it is set to make landfall in Quezon and Aurora on Sunday morning.

As such, Metro Manila has already been placed under Signal No. 2.

The replacement schedule for the UE-FEU and Adamson-Ateneo matchups is yet to be determined.
