UAAP By the Numbers: Still Growling
Marvin Lee went off for 22 points to keep UST Growling this season.

UAAP action was cut short by typhoon Karen this past week but it doesn't mean that UAAP By the Numbers will stop.

There were still great games right? Well then, what are we waiting for, off we go!

Combined scoring of UST's backcourt duo Marvin Lee and John Sheriff in the Tigers' win over the NU Bulldogs last Saturday.

Lee went off for 22 points on five treys while the veteran Sheriff added 19 on an efficient 9-of-14 from the field.

Speaking of that UST win over NU, the Grownling Tigers endured five straight defeats before finally pulling one of against the Bulldogs.

Considering the Tigers only lost five games in all of Season 78, you can almost feel the collective sigh of relief in Espana as the hosts momentarily stopped their struggles in Season 79.

Mayhem is still perfect this year but the league-leading Green Archers got a game performance from the UP Fighting Maroons before holding on to another victory. DLSU is also the first team to make it to the Final Four this year with five games to spare.

Proof of the Maroons' fighting performance against the Green Archers, Diliman held Taft to its worst shooting performance this year as La Salle shot a combined 26/77 from the field ina 78-72 win.

Teng who has been missing since the first Ateneo-La Salle bout of Season 79 returned against UP and promptly dropped 21 points, leading the Green Archers to their ninth straight win. A little rusty but still gets the job done, that's Jeron for you.
