Can FEU stop DLSU? Tolomia and Pogoy think so

YOU CAN DO IT. RR Pogoy and Mike Tolomia have full faith that FEU can take on still spotless DLSU.
Far Eastern University went a perfect seven-for-seven in the 2016 PBA Draft.
All of Mac Belo, Carl Bryan Cruz, Russel Escoto, Achie Inigo, RR Pogoy, Alfrancis Tamsi, and Mike Tolomia heard their names get called.
And now, those seven are adamant that the current crop of Tamaraws can ruin another team’s quest for perfection.
At 12-0, De La Salle University is two wins away from an elimination round sweep and an outright Finals berth. Two more wins there and they wrap up a perfect season.
Fortunately for all of us basketball fans, the Green Archers’ last assignment in the eliminations just happens to be defending champion FEU. Moreover, those two teams also have long been penciled in for a championship round matchup.
And that is exactly why Taft Avenue’s quest for perfection won’t come easy – if Pogoy is to be believed. “Magfa-Finals yang silang dalawa. Doon na yan magkaka-alaman,” he expressed.
Tolomia could only agree. As he put it, short but sure, “Kayang-kaya (ng FEU).”
Pressed for an explanation, the new Rain or Shine guard said, “Yung sistema talaga ang nagdadala sa FEU, kahit nung kami, sa mga panalo.”
For his part, Pogoy said the Tamaraws have all they need to counter dominating DLSU. “Kaya nila kasi may malaki rin sila, si Prince (Orizu). Tapos alam ko naman na kaya ni coach Nash (Racela),” he said.
He then continued, “Ang galing nyang si coach Nash.”
While he has full faith in his alma mater, the new TNT guard still didn’t hide his surprise at how good FEU has been after experiencing such a talent drain. “Ang lakas pala nila, ano? Nagulat kami kasi ang expectation namin, hindi ganyan,” he expressed.
He also added, “Over na nga sila sa expectations namin.”
