FEU captain would rather lose now than drop a Final Four game

Raymar Jose is taking this lose now as it would be better than dropping a game once the Tamaraws make the Final Four.
Better lose in the regular season than in the playoffs right?
FEU team captain Raymar Jose is fine with the Tamaraws dropping a game to the Adamson Falcons Sunday, as long as the champs don't suffer defeat in the Final Four.
"Madadala namin to sa Final Four, kailangan naman talaga may talo kasi pag Final Four ka pa matatalo delikado," Jose said as FEU dropped to 8-3 for Season 79.
With the loss, the defending champions missed out on the top seed and their case for the other twice-to-beat advantage remains up in the air.
FEU is still a full game ahead for the no. 2 spot right now though.
With a tough stretch coming right up, Jose stressed that the Tamaraws better correct their lapses against the Falcons.
Priority number one is to address their turnovers as Morayta gave the ball away 27 times against Adamson's press.
"Katulad nung sinabi ni coach, mag-focus kami sa turnovers namin tsaka sa depensa namin. Bounce back na lang siguro kami sa Wednesday," he said.
Despite seeing their seven-game winning streak snapped, Jose is fine with FEU losing now as long as they don't stumble come playoff time.
"Siguro ma-adjust namin to para madala namin hanggang Finals kung sakali," the FEU captain said.
